4 Amazing Spanish Destinations To Add To Your Bucket List

Spain has long been one of the top holiday destinations in Europe, and for good reasons. It’s got beautiful weather, amazing food and vibrant cities. That’s why so many Brits emigrate over there for good. If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all and relax for a few weeks to de-stress, Spain is the ideal place for it. These are some of the best Spanish holiday destinations right now.

It’s the beaches that attract people to Spain most of the time. If that’s what you’re after as well, Asturias is the place to go. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country with some nice relaxing towns nearby which make a nice change from some of the more touristy beaches in other areas of Spain. But Asturias isn’t just about the beaches, there are plenty of other great places to explore as well. There are loads of rocky coves and crescents to explore and you’re just as close to the mountains as you are to the sea. If you want to take a trip that is equal parts sunbathing and sightseeing, Asturias has everything you could ever need.

Marbella is one of the better known destinations in Spain and it’s definitely the best place to go if you’re looking for the ultimate beach holiday. There are plenty of luxury apartments on Marbella Beach to stay so you’re only a stone’s throw away from the ocean. The area is filled with loads of chilled out bars and restaurants to visit in the evenings or you could spend your days playing a relaxing game of golf in one of the many resorts. As long as you don’t mind dealing with a lot of tourists, Marbella is an amazing place to visit.

Not everybody enjoys a beach holiday but that doesn’t mean you should skip out on Spain altogether because there are some great city breaks there as well. Most people immediately think of Barcelona when they think of city breaks in Spain which is a shame because Valencia is just as good. This amazing port city on the southeastern coast is best known for its art scene, incredible architecture, and great hiking trails. There’s a bit of everything in Valencia so even if you go for a longer city break, you’re not going to get bored. But don’t worry if you still want to spend a few days sunbathing because there are some great beaches in Valencia as well.

If you’re going away with your family for a beach holiday, Fuerteventura is the best Spanish destination for you. It’s got so many amazing beaches and plenty of great family friendly hotels around. If you get bored with sunbathing, there are plenty of great activities to get stuck into. You can go surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. If you’re an animal lover, you can go diving and see all of the amazing fish in the ocean. When you fancy a break from the beach and you want to see the surrounding area, you can rent some bikes and cycle around.

A lot of people think that they’ve done Spain after they’ve seen a few of the beaches but that’s only one small part of what this amazing country has to offer.
